Wizz Air canceled 7 routes from Ukraine

The Hungarian low-cost airline canceled 7 directions from Kiev, Lvov, Zaporozhye and Kharkov, and will also not fly from Ukraine in January-February.

Tickets for the following Wizz Air destinations have disappeared from the booking system:

  • Kiev – Leipzig
  • Lviv – Copenhagen
  • Lviv – Hamburg
  • Kharkiv – Milan
  • Zaporizhzhia – Vilnius
  • Zaporizhzhia – Gdansk
  • Zaporizhzhia – Krakow

In addition, most of the directions from Ukraine for January-February have also been canceled: 12 – from Kiev, 10 – from Lvov, 6 – from Kharkov. During this period, the airline plans to fly only 16 routes from Kiev and Lviv. These are the following directions:

  • Kiev – Vienna
  • Kiev – Billund
  • Kiev – Copenhagen
  • Kiev – Vilnius
  • Kiev – Berlin
  • Kiev – Dortmund
  • Kiev – Memmingen
  • Kiev – London
  • Kiev – Warsaw
  • Kiev – Wroclaw
  • Kiev – Gdansk
  • Kiev – Bratislava
  • Kiev – Pardubice
  • Lviv – Dortmund
  • Lviv – London
  • Lviv – Pardubice.

Let us also remind that last week the Cabinet of Ministers announced the timing of the resumption of air communication between Ukraine and the EU countries. The Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladislav Krykliy gave his forecast on this issue.
