Ski resorts and churches will not be quarantined?

During the quarantine, which the Cabinet of Ministers could potentially introduce from the beginning of January, ski resorts, hotels and churches may be open.

This was stated by the chief sanitary doctor Viktor Lyashko at a meeting with journalists. According to Lyashko, ski resorts can be allowed to work so that people leave the megacities.

Hotels will be allowed to provide guests with breakfast. Churches will function with a restriction – one person per five square meters.

Public transport will not be stopped. As well as during the quarantine in the spring, grocery stores will be open. Kindergartens, schools, gyms, restaurants and other entertainment venues are planning to close. At the same time, catering establishments will be allowed to work on the delivery and issuance of orders.

This is a preliminary list of restrictions; the government will make a final decision at a meeting on December 9. According to the Ministry of Health’s forecasts, a three-week quarantine in January will reduce the number of daily patients to about 6-8 thousand per day.
