Ryanair managed to negotiate with the Kiev airport

Finally, it became finally known from which Ukrainian airports the Ryanair low-cost airline will operate.

On March 15, it became known that Ryanair is entering Ukraine and by the end of 2017 will launch 11 flights at once – 4 routes from Kiev and 7 from Lviv. At an official press conference, Ryanair Commercial Director David O’Brien announced that flights from Kiev will be operated from Boryspil Airport.

At the same time, information appeared that the Irish low-cost airline could not reach an agreement with the Kiev airport, and not only Zhulyany, but also other nearby airports, for example, in Gostomel, are being considered. In particular, it was said that Ryanair is demanding too much discount, which Kiev airports are not ready to go for.

Today it became known that the Ryanair low-cost airline has reached a long-awaited agreement: the flights will be operated from the Lvov airport named after Daniil Halytsky and Kiev Borispol airport.

During the meeting, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan announced this: “Yesterday Ryanair held successful negotiations with the leadership of the Lvov and Boryspil airports. The President and the Prime Minister adhere to a common position that it is necessary to provide cheap air transportation for Ukrainians.”
