Cancellation of visas to Indonesia: all the nuances

We are in a hurry to please all Ukrainian travelers: now Ukrainians do not need a visa to travel to Indonesia! TRIPMYDREAM found out all the nuances.

Recently, a presidential decree officially canceled the visa regime for citizens of Ukraine for a short-term stay in the Republic of Indonesia.

This means that now the holders of ordinary, as well as service and diplomatic passports that enter the territory of Indonesia for up to 30 days do not need a visa. The visa-free regime works for those who visit the country for tourism purposes, for family visits, for exchanges in the field of arts and culture, for social purposes, for performing short-term official duties, conducting lectures and seminars, as well as transit to other countries.

The abolition of visas does not apply to those who visit the country as a journalist.

To obtain permission to enter the Republic of Indonesia, citizens of Ukraine need to present a passport valid for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival, and return tickets or tickets to third countries (in case of transit).

For more information on the requirements for documents, a list of points of entry / exit to the country, as well as the duration of stay, please visit the website of the Embassy of Indonesia in Kiev.
