The research was carried out from October to November 2015. As a result, the carrier easyJet received the palm in the ranking. In second place is British Airways, and closes the top three of the leaders of Lufthansa.
The latter, by the way, turned out to be the leader in terms of the number of canceled flights during the specified period of time (from October 25 to November 25, 2015). The reason was the strikes of the airline workers, which took place at the time of the study. Besides Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and British Airways often canceled their flights.
The study also compiled a list of airports where flights are most often delayed. The saddest situation is at Heathrow (London), Frankfurt and Munich airports, Moscow Domodedovo and Amsterdam airport.
A total of 39 airlines and 40 airports were “surveyed”.
