Opened ski season in Spain

The famous Spanish ski resort Sierra Nevada has opened the winter season this weekend!

In addition to the two kilometers of ski trail, for which artificial snow was used, visitors can already use the Mirlo Blanc special recreation area with ecological skating rinks and two 130-meter ice slides. A special area for sledding will be prepared in the near future.

The price of a daily ski pass in the Sierra Nevada for adults will be € 20, for youth and children – € 18 and € 16, respectively. Other services for visitors include free parking at the station and underground parking at Plaza de Andalucia. These prices are valid only from the opening day until December 2.

The Sierra Nevada is the southernmost ski resort in Europe. It is located in the province of Andalusia, and it is here that the highest point of the Iberian Peninsula is located – the Mulhacen peak (3479 meters).
