European low-cost airline will launch a new flight from Kiev to Italy

From March 30, 2021, the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will fly from Kiev to Venice. The air carrier has already started selling tickets for this flight.

According to the schedule, flights will be operated 2 times a week – on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The air carrier will fly to Treviso airport, which is located 30 km from Venice and operates exclusively for low-cost airlines. Departure from Italy is scheduled for 07:15, arrival in Ukraine – at 10:40. The return flight from Kiev is at 11:15, and the arrival in Venice is at 12:40.

The new flight will follow the opening of the Ryanair low-cost base in Treviso with two new aircraft. The opening is scheduled for March 30, 2021.

In July 2020, all restrictions on flights between Italy and Ukraine were lifted. Therefore, Ryanair has no obstacles to obtaining a permit for flights on new routes. However, if the quarantine measures are extended, they may be postponed. Today, tourists from Ukraine are prohibited from visiting Italy.

At the moment, Ryanair’s route network between Ukraine and Italy includes 19 routes, 6 of them are from Kiev: to Bergamo, Bologna, Catania, Naples, Rome and Venice. But it should be borne in mind that the implementation of flights has been delayed until the spring of 2021, as indicated by the source avianews.com.

Let us also remind you that Bulgaria is temporarily opening its borders. The Bulgarian Ministry of Health announced the opening of the country’s borders to other states until January 31, 2021.
