Bulgaria: everything for tourists

In the last decade, the Bulgarian seaside resorts have returned from oblivion and have become quite wildly popular among Russian and Ukrainian travelers who choose inexpensive beach and sightseeing holidays.

This year, in order to increase the tourist flow, the Bulgarian authorities did not take an unexpected and rather non-standard step.

They decided that holidays in Bulgaria should henceforth be cheaper, and decided that umbrellas and sun loungers on the entire coast from this season will be free. This is a pretty impressive bonus, because the average cost of beach equipment in European resorts is € 5-10 per day.

In addition, a proposal was made to the local authorities to limit the opening hours of all noisy establishments. So, shops, as planned by the authorities, should close at 22:00, and bars and restaurants – at 00:00. Nightclubs, naturally, will continue to operate as before – that is, until they drop.

So far, such an initiative is actively supported only by the Union of Hotel Owners of Sunny Beach – a resort that is focused on family (read, quiet) recreation.
